Lift a Prayer of Praise!

English Audio Version

There are some days that our only solution is to lift our hands and shout before our King.

Psalm 100:1-5 is our enthusiastic prayer before the Lord! It’s our praise of joy in him! It’s our moment of thanksgiving revealing our love for him!

Woo! Woo! Let’s jump in the air and praise the mighty God of all creation!

“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!”

We don’t have to be an accomplished musician. It’s our enthusiasm that counts.

“Serve the Lord with gladness!”

Our happy heart will spread to those around us.

“Come into his presence with singing!”

Our voice raised in song allows everyone to join in.

“Know that the Lord, he is God!”

Lift up the Lord as master with our voices raised high.

“It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.”

Everything that is and was and will be belongs to him.

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise!”

The more we praise him, the closer to him we find ourselves.

“Give thanks to him; bless his name!”

Our thankfulness rises as a sweet savor unto his throne.

“For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”

God is our faithful commander, guide, and friend. He loves us for all time, and he will never fail to watch over us.

Let’s get excited! Praising the Lord in song lifts our heart unto him. There’s no problem too big to set aside for a time of praise unto the eternal Jehovah Jireh. Throw away the frowns, and let’s get down!

Our joy will flood from us when we truly begin to praise our King.
