For Strength in the New School Year

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP)

There is no thing, no situation, no worldly requirement in life that we cannot face when we walk with Jesus.

Whether we are a youth and returning to a non-Christian school environment, attending a secular university, or teaching under the auspices of state rules and regulations, God is still our rock and our source of strength. If our children struggle, Christ is their faithful companion. For in Him, we are not cowardly, but we roar as the lion, and our voice causes others to take note and move aside.

I love the song by Josh Wilson where it says, "The things I'm afraid of are afraid of You."

We are mighty warriors in the name of Jesus!!

Excerpt of the Day

If something leads us astray, toss it aside and leave it on the side of the road.
