“Don’t let your chance for success slip away just because the path becomes rocky.”
(Philippians 4:6 ESV)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Every mountain starts in the foothills. We begin on a shallow path. It’s only when we near the peak that we must don our gloves and steady ourselves as we climb.
It’s preparation that keeps us safe on the rocky sections. It’s the long walk up the grassy slopes that develops our muscles, helps us build our stamina, and gives us the skills that make our journey a success.
We can’t let a few rough patches dissuade us from moving forward. A slope of rocky scree isn’t the entire journey. Our faith in our goal is what gives us the determination to keep heading upward.
We climb our spiritual mountains best while on our knees. With Success-Speak for our starting point, we can climb our mountain with faith in the goal we want to achieve.
