“Adapt. It is something that must be done constantly to be able to succeed in the world.”
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
(2 Timothy 3:16)
Many professions require us to update our credentials on a regular basis.
Old procedures become outdated. Systems become more complex. Techniques for success that worked a year ago simply don’t cut it any longer.
Even the words we use—jargon—take on new forms, and without adaptation, we’re the fossils that can no longer succeed.
In matters of faith, it’s also adapt or fail. Our source for our updates is the Bible. The truth in the Word of God never changes, and its application to our lives can be trusted.
Let’s get our training cap on. Let’s break out the Word, join a Bible study, and get our salvation diploma stamped with our updated credentials. It’s how we get our training in righteousness and learn to succeed in the world.
