“A single action can resonate throughout your entire life, whether it be negative or positive.”
But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.
(James 1:25 ESV)
A teenager has an inattentive moment, loses control of the car, and four people die.
It happened near Fredericksburg, Texas, in 2016. One moment, and the world changed for three families.
A man gives up His life on a cross, offering His blood as salvation for the innocent, and millions of people are saved.
It happened on Golgotha two millennia ago.
Our opportunity for good is now. One action, then another, and another. When we live out the Word of God in all that we say and do, we become a force for good in the world.
The choice is ours. Be inattentive and watch people die, or live by the standards of the Lord so that others may live.
