“Remember that success rarely falls into your lap. You must make the conscious decision to succeed before success can be yours.”
Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.
(Proverbs 15:22 ESV)
A solitary tree can’t become a forest, no matter how hard it tries.
That may seem silly to us, but how many people try to become successful without the proper preparation?
We need people to aid us in deciding our future, to help us formulate our plans, and to steer us away from certain disaster.
It’s hard work to be successful. Don’t let anyone suggest otherwise. That musician that explodes on the scene? How many years did she play the small venues? Financial wizards often start out barely getting by, making small investments, until the big payoffs begin to come in.
Today’s verse says that “with many advisers they succeed.” To reach your success, find a mentor, a counselor, someone to give you advice. Then act. Move out. Success is yours to earn, but you do have to earn it.
