“Success is not something that comes without significant work.”
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. (Colossians 3:23 ESV)
Winning the lottery is a dream of unimaginable luxury for many people.
Just to imagine more money than we can possibly spend sends jitters up and down our spine.
Yet, what happens to most lottery winners? Within a decade, the money is gone, and there’s nothing left.
It’s the financial and mental discipline we learn through years of striving to be successful that gives us a grasp on the real world. An entrepreneur can strike it big through a chance success, but without putting in the hours to ensure his investments, he risks having his success evaporate before his eyes.
We can’t rest on our past triumphs. We must strive to move forward, to work as for the Lord. When we break a sweat in achieving what we want, we’ll find our victory at the end of each day.
