Life is full of strange things.
The universe is wide and glorious. Under the earth’s seas are more wonders than we can imagine.
We’ve seen it all, we claim, except . . . except, we ask, where is God?
Here are 5 enigmas that put the Lord to the test, and each one proves that God is the Master of All Creation.
Genesis 1:1 starts the story with God creating everything.
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Existence had to start somewhere. God stepped in, stirred the pot, and here we are. That was God, not some mysterious explosion.
Proverbs 30:5 tells us that every word of God proves true.
“Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.”
Every word! The Bible, from cover to cover, substantiates the validity of God. None other can make that claim.
Psalm 19:1 says the heavens declare the glory of God.
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”
Just look at a sunrise (or sunset, if you can’t get up early). Try to count the galaxies, never mind the stars. God created all of it.
Psalm 139:14 tells us we are fearfully and wonderfully made.
“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”
Who else could assemble the human body in such a frightfully intricate manner? Doctors will tell you that medicine is mostly guesswork, yet God did it right the first time.
Psalm 1:6 says God knows who lives a righteous life and who chooses the broad path.
“For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.”
We think we’ve hit the “discreet” button, but all things are known to God. Not even social media has that power.
Give God a shakedown. Measure him against creation. See what he has and hasn’t done.
Every wonderful thing proves that God is who he says he is.
