You are a winner!
Every spiritual battle you encounter will be won in the name of Jesus.
You can’t lose. You have Jesus on your team.
When you don the full armor of God, you become the quarterback of God’s team, and you are unstoppable in him.
Unstoppable! Say it again. UNSTOPPABLE.
Two things cause new Christians to falter in their walk with Christ: fending off the attacks of the devil and waiting for God’s answer in the Lord’s own time.
These are already TOUCHDOWN VICTORIES to the committed Christian.
Colossians 1:11 reveals what God offers you.
“May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy.”
You are STRENGTHENED through the POWER OF GOD, according to his glorious might.
Do you know how powerful God is? That’s how much strength he gives you.
That’s powerful enough, but there’s more, much more. You’re given this strength, so you can achieve your two TOUCHDOWN VICTORIES for Christ.
Touchdown Victory No. 1:
You have the ENDURANCE through the POWER OF GOD to withstand all attacks of the devil. Stand up and shout. This is good teaching.
Touchdown Victory No. 2:
You are filled with PATIENCE through the POWER OF GOD to let God move in his time, to let your answers come on God’s timetable. It’s okay to get excited about what God’s doing for you!
God promises you a bonus to your TOUCHDOWN VICTORIES. Yes, God has promised, because he’s written it in his Word.
Your ENDURANCE and PATIENCE will come with JOY. That’s right. You can chuck misery out the window, because you’ll overflow with JOY during every trial you face.
That’s exciting! Imagine the fans of a football team cheering for a touchdown by their favorite players. That’s you, the winner of the game in Jesus’ name.
If you want to be a winner, Jesus’ team is the one to join.
