How big can you dream?
A new job? A new car?
How about a new house fully furnished to the nines?
Or maybe your dreams go a different direction. You want your family back together again, a broken relationship restored.
All’s fair game in your dream. Perhaps it’s a desire for a new business, and you need the funds to get it off the ground. Come on, dream bigger. God’s got it waiting for you.
How do you know? Ephesians 3:20 tells you so.
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.”
You may not have asked because you felt silly. God can’t do that, you’ve said to yourself.
Stop doing that! God can and will.
Even if you haven’t asked for something big from God, and it’s only buzzed around in your mind, God is thinking even bigger.
Read that verse again and focus on these words: Far more abundantly than you can think.
Now you’re seeing it. As much power as you have working in your Christian life, you have that much power fueling your requests and dreams. All of it. Every bit of God’s power is flowing more abundantly than you can ask or think to meet and exceed every need you have.
So, Blessing No. 1 is whatever you are willing to ask of God. He is more than able and willing to bless you with it.
Plus, Blessing No. 2 is whatever you can imagine in your thoughts. He’s able to do that, too.
This is exciting, and you’re about to get excited, too. This is a double shower, a blessing times two, and the best thing that’s ever happened to you.
Don’t be afraid to ask. Don’t be afraid to dream. Remember, your blessing is already yours, according to the power of God working in you.
