Our SNOWFLAKE God

When life feels bitter, and everything around us is dead, is when the snow comes, creating a winter wonderland.

God is in each SNOWFLAKE that falls, and he brings refreshing to our souls.

Let’s look at our SNOWFLAKE God:

S – He is the SPICE that makes the incense sweet.

Exodus 37:29 reveals an image of the Christ as the final anointing upon the Ark of the Covenant.

N – He NOURISHES our souls.

In Genesis 50:21, Joseph is an archetype of Christ. He tells his brothers, “Fear not: I will NOURISH you and your little ones.”

O – He is our OVERCOMER.

Revelation 3:21 tells us Jesus is our OVERCOMER, and we will sit with him at the right hand of the Father.

W – He gives us WISDOM to know right from wrong.

Job 35:11 lifts us up with the knowledge that it is God who gives us WISDOM above the beasts of the field.

F – He is FAITHFUL to care for his children.

1 Corinthians 1:9 gives us hope in our salvation, for God is FAITHFUL to keep us blameless in the arms of Christ.

L – He LIFTS us out of harm’s way.

In Psalm 18:48, David assures us God LIFTS us above anyone who would come against us.

A – He APPOINTS the day and time for our deliverance.

Numbers 9:2-3 reminds us that God knows the future, and he APPOINTS events for our good.

K – He KEEPS his blanket of peace over us.

Philippians 4:7 describes the wonderful peace of God. It passes all understanding, and with it, Christ KEEPS our hearts and minds.

E – He EXALTS us before all men.

1 Peter 5:6 elevates the humble, for God will EXALT those who are broken before him.

When the storms of winter come, they bring with them the beauty of the snow. Each SNOWFLAKE is a witness of the power and love of our almighty Creator.
