A collapsing stock market?
Bah! Shrug it off.
Global pandemic?
Ah, what’s it got to do with me?
A shrinking job market?
God is my supply, and his resources know no bounds.
God says, “I have you covered with my powerful right hand!”
Worry? Kick it out the door.
Sleepless nights? Banished into the distance.
Fear of repercussions? Not worth our time to consider.
God is our strength! He upholds the righteous who walk in his ways.
Psalm 125:3 says:
“For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous stretch out their hands to do wrong.”
God doesn’t even let bad things into our yard! Our finances are off limits to the evil one! Our families are protected by barriers defended by angels from on high!
We are warriors of the righteous King. We have global satellite protection, a 9-1-1 rescue team on call, and Spirit-infused land mines protecting us from any advance by the devil.
Safety is our strong word. Security is our flak jacket. Protection is the song we lift as our anthem before the world.
The wicked may suffer, but their fate is not ours. As God once separated the light from the darkness and the land from the waters, so he separates us from those who would do us harm.
God is our fortress and our shield. In whom shall we fear? We are wrapped in the protection of the Creator of the Cosmos.
When we live close to God, our security is assured in him.
