We are the lion. Hear us roar.
Those are words of truth. As Christians, we are not weak. We need have no fear.
We are the kings and queens of all that we survey.
Joshua 1:9 gives us our permission to lift our voice in triumph:
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
On the mission field, hear us roar!
For human rights, hear us roar!
As anchors of righteous living, hear us roar!
The lion has to assert its right to be the king of the jungle. It doesn’t always come easily. Yet, when the mighty lion lifts its head and roars, its voice resonates up and down the valleys and into every nook and cranny.
As faithful believers in Christ, we are the lion. Hear us roar.
A rough financial patch? Hear us roar!
The oppression of drug use? Hear us roar!
Fractured relationships? Hear us roar!
Church division? Hear us roar!
The world may come against us, but we must not be frightened. THE LORD OUR GOD IS WITH US WHEREVER WE GO.
