Not every day will be perfect.
Clouds will occlude the sky, your tires will go flat, and you’ll eat something that disagrees with you.
That’s life. We all face challenges. It’s how we deal with them that makes the difference.
Understand this. When you can look past the things that try to trip you up, you will find that your day is about to get better than you ever imagined.
Romans 8:31-32 assures you God will give you all good things.
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”
What do you need today? A kind word? A helping hand? A new direction for your life? Ask God. He loves you very much.
Joshua 10:8 says there are no barriers too tall for you to scramble over.
“And the Lord said to Joshua, ‘Do not fear them, for I have given them into your hands. Not a man of them shall stand before you.’ ”
Re-read what that verse says. Not a man of them shall stand before you. God has already cleared the way for you to move forward.
Proverbs 21:31 assures us that trusting in God is our preparation for every fight.
“The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.”
Your job isn’t to win the battle. God expects you to focus on him and place your life in his hands. He will give you the victory.
You can’t make your days perfect. That’s not our human existence. You can trust in God. That’s his desire and motivation for taking your day and making it better each time you turn to him.
We reveal the best things in life when we look up to find the Father.
