At times we feel we can’t go on.
The car breaks down. Our bank account is a bust. We feel our friends have abandoned us.
We struggle with our self-worth, and our days become dark with depression. We can’t even get our prayers through to heaven.
God says stop it! That’s not how he wants us to live. He has a better plan for us. He loves us, and he wants to be our shield against life, our steady spot in a fast-changing world, and our pick-me-up when we’re down.
Psalm 46:1-2 reveals the depth of God’s love for us.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea.”
Here are 3 Things that Say God Loves us.
Love Revelation No. 1:
He is our refuge. We can run to him. He is there for us.
Love Revelation No. 2:
He has a mighty arm. Nothing can prevail against him. What he says will get done.
Love Revelation No. 3:
He will help us when we are in trouble. We can call on him, and he will be there for us. He hears us when we say his name.
God’s assurances are ours even “though the earth gives way.” God is at our side even “though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea.”
Storms? Not a problem for God. Earthquakes? No big deal. Financial disaster? Already taken care of. Family issues? God’s got it!
God wants you to know you’re loved. You’re protected. You’re under his strong arm, and nothing can harm you.
You are never alone when you trust in God to be your strength.
