When Words Won’t Come

English Audio Version

You are the sparkle in God’s eye.

The whirlwind of life will sandblast you with troubles, but you are treasured by your heavenly Father.

He is your protection, even when you struggle to get past your pain.

When life hurts so much that you can’t even form a prayer, God’s taken care of that also.

Look to Matthew 6:9-13 for what to say.

“Pray then like this: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.”

— You must come to God in a worshipful manner.

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

— It’s not what you want, but what God has planned that matters.

“Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”

— You must depend on God, the one who forgives your wrongdoing, even as you forgive those who rub you the wrong way.

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

— Your focus on God keeps you from traveling a darker path.

These are the words of Jesus, your example of how to pray, and the core of his mission on earth.

What makes you hurt? What rips your voice from you and crushes you inside?

The Lord’s Prayer can help you begin your climb back into the light.

  • Worship.
  • Give God first place.
  • Forgive others.
  • Stay focused on Jesus.

The light will begin to shine. That’s Jesus, the keeper of your soul. Trust in him.

Jesus won’t do you wrong.

Gain a foothold in Jesus, and you’ll soon be awash in his love.

We already know the end of the story. Jesus rules, and the devil drools.
