Releasing the Lion Inside of Us

English Audio Version

Lions are fearsome predators.

They can take down prey many times their size. Not only can they work in tandem with other lions, the strength in their paws can snap necks and bring instant death.

God has given us the strength to be lions in the face of oppression.

When bad things come our way, we can roar in defiance, gather our partners in prayer, and take down our enemy.

2 Kings 6:16 is our bastion of encouragement.

“He said, ‘Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.’ ”

How big is your enemy?

  • Is your entire family plotting your downfall? Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.
  • Are bill collectors knocking at your door? Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.
  • Is your home fracturing at the seams? Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.
  • Are your investments skittering away like marbles on a downhill slope? Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.
  • Is your health report worse than a thunderstorm on a moonless night? Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.

With Jesus at your side, you become fearsome in the face of the world. God wants to release the lion inside of you. He desires you to understand you have the ability to take down prey many times your size.

You can destroy those who rise against you and be victorious in the name of our Lord.

So, roar in defiance, gather your partners in prayer, and take down the enemy that has arisen against you. Your time is now. God is your strength, and you will be successful when you trust in him.

Step out on the Word of God. You cannot fail when Jesus is with you.
